Victoria Chen is a graphic designer focused on illustration. Her style is shaped by diverse life experiences, optimistic attitude and childlike innocence. As the art director of Astro Circo studio, she has created and designed many commercial visual products , and continues to explore and diversify her own creative style.

做为以插画为主的平面设计师，创作风格成型于不同背景的生活经历，乐观的态度和一直保持着的童真。身为AC工作室的艺术总监，以视觉艺术出发，创作设计了很多商业视觉产品，并将继续探索个人创作风格的延展性和多元性。
1.Longest you have been away from home? 最长离家多久？
Ten years, I’m currenly living in Canada.
10年，目前长居加拿大。
2. Favorite movie of all time? 有史以来你最喜欢的电影是哪一部?
My favorite movie of the past two years is “Soul”. It helped me to understand how to live every day and enjoy everything that happens in the moment.
近两年最爱的电影《心灵奇旅》，这部电影让我从22的身上真正理解了如何过好每一天，享受当下所发生的一切。
3. The best way to destress? 对你来说，最好的减压方式是什么?
Put on some music and do crafts or draw, draw purposlessly just for pleasure.
放着音乐做手工或者画画，是没有任何目的的画画。
4. What would the title of your autobiography be? 如果写一本自传的话，书名会叫什么?
“What would I have done if I hadn’t studied painting?” One of the questions that I keep thinking about: if I’m not a designer or an illustrator, what else can I do? So if I were writing an autobiography, I would want to start from other industries, to write about myself in a parallel universe, but not another me.
《如果没有学绘画，我会做什么?》 总会想到的一个问题就是，如果我不做设计师或是插画师，还有什么工作我可以胜任。所以如果写一本自传的话，我会想从其他的行业入手，去写一个平 行宇宙中的自己，但并非是另一个我。
5.Your favorite creative project you’ve ever worked on, and why you like it so much?
你曾经参与过的创意项目其中，那个是你最喜欢的项目；为什么你这么喜欢它?
When I was invited to create illustrations for “They Go Low, We Go Laugh”, a standup event in Montreal. What makes it special is that it’s a women’s stand-up show, with all -female cast and creators. So I guess they also wanted to invite a female illustrator to create the main visual for the campaign, so they contacted me. Fortunately, everyone liked my style and I could experiment/create freely, so the whole project was enjoyable and I met a lot of interesting people.
受邀为在蒙特利尔举办的一场脱口秀活动“They go low, we go laugh” 创作插画。比较特殊的是，这是一场女性脱口秀演出，所有演员和主创都是 女性。所以我猜她们也想邀请一名女插画师来为这场活动设计主视觉，也就联系了我。很幸运大家都很喜欢我的风格并且要求我随意的发挥，所以整个项目做下来都愉快，并且认识了很多有趣的人。
