More is an artist who continually creates “hairy legs” works under the cloak of night. He grew up in suburb, and his surrounding gave him and his work a lot of space to transform from kiddish sketches to the bold graffiti style. This free and unconstrained upbringing shaped the heavy lines style of More’s work. After MORECREW®️ was founded in 2014, he’s now on his way to the new journey and constantly exploring…

1. Coolest place you’ve been sent for work ?
Yumen, Gansu province. The former Petrochina city is now a no-man’s land, a vast stretches of land with empty apartments, a cinema, a stadium. We were invited to create graffiti there, and we went underground to explore the city which is as big as the one above the ground.
2.How you discovered you were creative?
When I was a child, I envied other children who went to the Children’s Palace. So my parents brought me a permanent marker after work every day, and that’s how I entered the world of freestyle graffiti.
3. Your main strength as a creative person?
I can let my imagination run wild, summarize and combine the ideas proposed by the other people, and expand on my own creative ideas. I am also good at coloring.
4. Creative person who inspires you?
Yoshitomo Nara, I watched a documentary about him, it was very inspirational and healing, full of love. I’d like to create works that empower people, just like him.

Graffiti I did as part of Nippon’s project “Color, Way of Love”. It was in Shaanxi elementary school, and for the first time I was doing drawing for children— it was a deer-themed graffiti, for which I deconstructed and retold a traditional story. In the end, I placed nine deer of different colors in the background, so the kids could not only see the work, but find those deer.
We invite each of the creatives we profile to tag another interesting person for the series. More毛裤 suggested graffiti artist, designer Kiddydlc.
