In seemingly record time Wutthitrai “Wut” Priyapakdeekul has gone from one of Thailand’s emerging talents to one of its leading cinematographers. Over the last several years, Wut has been fortunate enough to work with some of Asia and the world’s best TV commercial directors and agencies, turning their creative visions into beautiful images.
Early on in his career, Wut, a self-taught photographer on the streets of Bangkok caught the attention of many of Thailand’s leading magazine editors with his thoughtful documentary style. In 2003, Wut’s first foray into cinematography saw him win Thailand’s ‘Channel V, Best Cinematography Award’.
Never one to sit by idly, Wut pushed himself to further hone his skills as a DP. Consequently in 2003, Wut packed his bags and headed for France. Over the 3 years that Wut spent in Paris, he worked tirelessly on a string of award winning short films, developing the unique visual style that has come to hallmark his work. During this time he also worked on the Thai feature film, “Metrosexual”.
Since 2006, Wut has been back in Asia shooting non-stop on TVCs and music videos. With every passing shoot, Wut’s passion for cinematography has grown, matched only by his drive to improve his craftsmanship as a visual storyteller.

自2006年起，他返回亚洲马不停蹄的拍摄了一系列的电视广告和音乐视频。每一次的拍摄，都壮大了他对摄影的激情同时也提高了他作为视觉阐述者的技能。
